Los Angeles – His design works are on show in the permanent collection of the MOMA in New York, the Victoria & Albert Museum in London, the Die Neue Sammlung Museum of Munich and in many other museums in the USA and Europe. Ludovico Magistretti, better known as Vico, passed away in 2006 but his creativity continues to speak, in Italy and in the world. The Italian Cultural Institute of Los Angeles pays homage to the great Milanese architect and designer with an exhibition (from now until July 31st), organized with the Consulate General of Italy in Los Angeles and the Fondazione studio museo Vico Magistretti. “A Traveling Archive” – this is the title of the exhibition – explores the creative path of Magistretti and his professional and personal relationship with the most prestigious names in Italian design.
