Mogadiscio – The General Directorate for Development Cooperation of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs is contributing €500.000 to UNMAS – the United Nations Mine Action Service – in Somalia. The Agency will support its operators and local police officer de-mine the Mogadiscio area. With a further €250.000, the Italian Cooperation will support UNMAS’ activities in Libya to raise awareness of the dangers of unexploded devices.(9colonne)
