(Jul. 3rd) Food security in the first place. For the region of Marche such as China, that are getting closer and a confirmation comes today from the Chinese province of Hunan. The visit to China by a delegation of experts from the Marche has, in fact, ended with the subscriptions of a cooperation agreement for the traceability of food and a letter of intent with regard to food safety. In particular, last week a group of technicians traveled to China to continue the cooperation activities already started in 2013, following the signing of an agreement between Regione Marche and the province of Hunan. The mission has seen the participation of experts from the Service Environment and Agriculture of the Regione Marche, from the Assam, Arpam, of professors from faculty of the Università Politecnica delle Marche and some representatives of leading companies in the fields of services and environmental technologies and food production excellence of the region. It has been also organized an event to promote the best agri-food products from Marche during the week-long celebration of Italian culture in Changsha, which was attended, among others, by the Consul General of Italy in Guangzhou, the main local television and representatives of some Italian multinationals. As part of the visit, the Marche delegation also participated in the first workshop on Sino-Italian environmental protection technologies. The opportunity has allowed the companies to deepen their collaboration already underway through a deeper understanding of the real needs expressed by the Chinese delegation.
