Leon – The European association of footwear manufacturers organizes every three years the World Footwear Congress. The fifth edition will be entitled “Keeping one step ahead: meeting the challenges of the footwear sector,” and will be held November 24-25 in Leon, Mexico. The conference will see the participation of representatives from local and European institutions, associations, and companies. Together, they will reflect on the future prospects and trends within the sector. Cleto Sagripanti, president of Assocalzaturifici, and Fabio Aromatici, general manager of Assocalzaturifici, will represent the Italian footwear industry and will illustrate its growth prospects, its strengths and weaknesses, and its international role in continuous evolution.
