July 28 – The Mexican newspaper “El Sol de Mexico” has devoted two articles to “The flavors of Bologna and Emilia Romagna” These two reports, recently published, were written by the newspaper’s correspondent in Europe, Maria Esther Estrada. Estrada recently took part in a tour of Emilia Romagna; she had, in the past, already written other articles about tourism in different Italian regions. In the two articles, the journalist reveals to the general public the secrets of the food and wine products known and appreciated all over the world: Mortadella, Parmigiano Reggiano, Culatello di Zibello and Aceto Balsamico di Modena. This little “encyclopedia of taste” of the region included a brief review of its most famous wines: Lambrusco, Pignoletto, Malvasia, Albana, and Sangiovese. Maria Estrada was able to appreciate all this during her visit to the Dozza Regional Winery.
