Edinburgh – Bologna, UNESCO city of music, will take part in the largest arts festival in the world, the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, thanks to the theater company Instabili Vaganti, which will perform a new version of the award-winning show “Made in Ilva – L’eremita contemporaneo.” The show, which had already been noted by the international press, will participate in the physical theater and dance section of the festival. For this occasion, the music of the performance will be composed by Riccardo Nanni, one of the authors of the soundtrack of the Oscar-winning “La Grande Bellezza.” The show, inspired by the Ilva Taranto blue-collars, is based on the diary of a worker, the testimonies of other workers, and the verses of the so-called “blue-collar poets,” such as Luigi di Ruscio. The great protest against the largest steel factory in Europe centered around environmental damage, deaths at work, and the workers caught between their need to work and the fear of repercussions on their health.
