Zurich – Marco Fassinotti and Gianmarco Tamberi make it to the finals, after the tough qualification rounds. Fassinotti jumped 2.23 (second attempt), necessary to conclude the round. Tamberi didn’t reach the same height, but gained access to the final round thanks to his immaculate performance up to the 2.19 jumps. In the end, 14 reached the final, scheduled for August 15. They will now compete against the superstars Bondarenko, who in a single jump reached a height of 2.23, and Ukhov, who chose to jump all heights. (9Colonne)
