(Aug. 14) Carlo Goldoni’s theater arrives in Lima thanks to Patrizia
Linossi, Italian women’s literature expert and currently professor at
the Antonio Raimondi school in the Peruvian capital. Linossi will give
a lecture on the work of the Venetian playwright this Tuesday, August
19. The event, organized by the Italian Institute of Culture in Lima,
will take place at the Auditorium Pier Paolo Pasolini (Av. Arequipa
1055, Santa Beatriz – Lima). Goldoni (Venice, 1707 – Paris, 1793) is
“considered – reads a statement by the IIC – one of the fathers of
Italian comedy. In his works, he described his characters and their
circumstances with realism and comedy.”
