Feb. 7 – The Florentine brand “To Be” debuted at the New York Fashion Week. Created thanks to Simone Vannuzzi’s creativity as a designer and entrepreneur, the collection, one of the few Italian attend the event, is totally “green,” made entirely with eco-friendly fabrics: yarn from bamboo, cereals, pineapple plant, broom, banana and even nettle. All fibers come from special fabrics, with a soft and shiny texture that recalls silk. The collection, minimalist both in materials and shapes, is characterized by natural colors. “To Be” is designed for a city woman who lives in the midst of different cultures, with a soul sensitive to environmental issues, “fashion-conscious but in an ironic way – said Simone – the type of girl who can meet in a Paris museum and that got there by riding her bike.”
