Shanghai – The ICE Agency is organizing Italy’s participation in Music China 2014, held in Shanghai October 8-11 at the Shanghai New International Expo Centre. The Chinese market fosters great opportunities for Italian producers of musical instruments. There are over 100 symphony orchestras, including 14 in the capital, and 25 musical schools, including two in Beijing and one in Shanghai. In the ranking of countries supplying China with musical instruments, Italy is 7th, with exports in 2012 amounting to $4.78 million. (9Colonne)
