Oct. 12 – The 11th edition of the Music China Fair, which runs until October 14, is currently hosting the great Italian artisanal music instrument tradition, reunited in 31 firms, represented by one Italian collective. The Italian pavilion is over 300 square meters and its existence was made possible thanks to the cooperation of ICE, the National Agency for Internationalization and Promotion of Italian firms abroad, and ACISA, the Italian Association of Acoustic Instrument Construction. The best-represented sector in the Italian pavilion is the lute-production one, but other components and accessories are also present. In particular, participants should keep an eye out for Consorzio Liutai “Antonio Stradivari”, representing over 60 lute makers in the Cremona area, and Salvi Harps, renowned harp producer.
