Santiago – The competition “Sol d’Oro” arrives in South America. Sponsored by Veronafiere, the first edition of the event in a “southern hemisphere” version will be held from today until October 3 in Santiago, Chile, and will see the participation of 70 samples of extra virgin olive oil from Argentina, Chile, Peru, Uruguay, Australia and South Africa. “It’s already a success,” says Damiano Berzacola, deputy chairman of Veronafiere, which will be in Santiago de Chile attending the event, “because it shows that we have correctly read the interest of the olive oil producing countries of the southern hemisphere to have an international and selective competition such as Sol d’Oro.” (9colonne)
