(Oct. 1) Dario Franceschini, Minister of Culture, will inaugurate the Italian space at the 66th edition of the Frankfurt Book Fair, the most important international event for the exchange of publishing rights and the most significant event for the promotion of Italian culture and publishing abroad. The Book Fair – to be held in Frankfurt from October 8 to 12 – will host a total of 7.100 exhibitors from 103 different countries, occupying 171,790 sqm. Finland will be the guest of honor. Over 200 Italian publishers present. At the event, the Italian publishing sector will be represented in a 274 sqm point, designed by the Italian Publishers Association(IEA), by the ICE – Agency for the Promotion abroad and the internationalization of Italian companies and the Ministry of Economic Development. In this space will be presented and exhibited approximately 1.300 titles of 47 Italian publishers and will be able to consult the online database of books on the market. (Red)
