Cannes – The screenplays of “Koouka”, a cartoon created entirely in Italy that features a small blue chameleon, will be written by Dean Wilkinson. The famous British comedy writer has signed an agreement with Vallaround from Milan, that created the carton in collaboration with Smoky Bungalow. Wilkinson is the author of popular radio and television programs, publishing works and electronic games, such as “Little Big Planet” for the Sony, whose first two editions have recorded a resounding success. His collaboration on the project “Koouka” will be officially announced tomorrow in Cannes during the MipJunior, the most important event in the world of cartoons and animated films. In the last edition of this event, “Koouka” won the International Pitch MipJunior 2013, the award for the best international project of animation. Wilkinson has already started to work at the screenplays of the first 52 episodes (lasting 7 minutes each). At the next MipJunior, the company that takes care of the distribution, Aldebaran Distribution, will present the screenplay for “The ghostly litter bug”, the first episode. (9colonne)
