Oct. 30 – Eni looks to the Mexican market: its CEO, Claudio Descalzi, and the CEO of Petroleos Mexicanos (Pemex), Emilio Lozoya Austin, today signed a Memorandum of Understanding and Cooperation (MOU) that establishes the basis for cooperation and knowledge sharing in the upstream, midstream and downstream areas. In addition, the Memorandum provides for cooperation and the exchange of best practices in the areas Health, Safety & Environment as well as Human Capital management and training. During the meeting, the possibility of a future strategic partnership in Mexico’s upstream sector was also contemplated. Eni has been present in Mexico since January 2014 with a representative office in the capital. (Red)
