Nov. 6 – In the last years of his life, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart found in Prague the serenity that had always eluded him in Vienna. The relationship between the famous composer and the Czech capital is now the topic of discussion in Piero De Martini’s book “Mozart a Praga. 1787 -1791” (Bruno Mondadori, 2013). The essay will be presented on Wednesday November 19 at 6pm at the Czech Museum of Music, in Prague, during an event organized by the Italian Institute of Culture and the Museum. De Martini, author, architect and designer by profession, is also a pianist and musicologist. His book brings to life the Prague loved and lived by Mozart, and the Mozart that lived in Prague, through the artistic and cultural filter as well as the people and places frequented by the musician. The book will be presented by author and Maestro Daniele Ferrari, conductor, composer and harmony, piano and music education teacher. (Red)
