Cocula – The Libera Association takes action directly after the news of the discovery in the Cocula landfill, in Mexico, of the remains belonging to 43 Ayotzinapa students. “Indignation is not enough, we need to act and react, of course peacefully and within the limits of the law, because we don’t respond to violence with violence – says Libera – We demand the immediate establishment of a Commission for Truth and Justice, an independent commission supported by the technical assistance of the United Nations, whose members are approved by the families of the victims. Truth and Justice are not theoretical concepts, and a commission of this kind is the only thing that can restore credibility to Mexican institutions, as these past years have taught us”. (9colonne)
