London – The Italian company FuoriMuro wins the prize for “Best European freight rail operator of 2014,” awarded in London during the European Rail Congress. The event saw the participation of over 400 representatives from the European railway sector. The other nominees were the partner company InRail, GB Railgreight (Great Britain) and the Grup Feroviar Român (Grampet Group, Romania). FuoriMuro received the prestigious award thanks to the combined transport service that the company operates on the Italy-France via Ventimiglia rail, and its “unique ability to integrate the switching station service within the Genoa port to rail traction.” The award was presented to Guido Porta, President of FuoriMuro.
