Ankara – The Italian Ambassador to Turkey, Gianpaolo Scarante, and Turkish Economy Minister Nihat Zeybekci had a long conversation yesterday to review the main aspects of economic and trade relations between the two countries. Bilateral trade amount to about $ 20 billion per year and Italy is the fourth largest trade partner for Turkey. Building on this, Ambassador Scarante reminded that there are all the preconditions to extend economic cooperation into the automotive, defense, textile, infrastructure industries, as well as in the fields of restoration and cooperation in third countries.
