Nov. 21 – Federlegno Arredo Eventi has created the first Italian business network for the dissemination of interior design in sub-Saharan Africa. The network aims to facilitate the entry of member companies into sub-Saharan Africa, particularly in the Nigerian market, with the support of a network manager and a targeted presence on location. “From our most recent estimates – says Roberto Snaidero, President of Federlegno Arredi Eventi – the furniture and interior design industry in Africa has grown exponentially. By creating this network, we want to make this market more accessible to our companies.” Federlegno Arredi Eventi is already promoting Italian member companies to local experts by organizing trade missions and B2B meetings. Recently, Federlegno Arredi Eventi promoted and supervised the construction of this network, and is now the supervisor and coordinator of the project alongside the consulting firm Rödl & Partner, which will provide a dual platform, one in Italy and one in Africa. Five companies in the furniture sector are taking part in the project: Gibus spa (awnings), Carpanelli spa (furniture), Colombo Mobili srl (furniture), Siloma Ltd (modern furniture), and Arcari Arredamenti snc (kitchen and bathroom new classic ).
