Jakarta – Italian wine goes East with the Istituto Grandi Marchi. The Institute is taking, for the first time, 19 brands to the capitals of Indonesia and Malaysia (Kuala Lumpur, yesterday, Jakarta, today). This is the penultimate stage of the 2014 program for the promotion and internationalization of the Institute’s quality wine. In its 10 years in business, the Istituto Grandi Marchi completed over 260 missions in 21 countries. With a total population of 280 million inhabitants and a steady increase in tourism, Malaysia and Indonesia, for Italy, are two important emerging markets yet to be explored in the wine sector.
