(Jul. 5) – The Italian winery Frescobaldi lands to China, following the prominence that Italian wine gained during the celebrations held in Beijing on June 1st on the occasion of Italian National Day. To promote Frescobaldi’s wine, Marquise Lamberto Frescobaldi arrived yesterday in Beijing for his first visit to China, welcomed by the Ambassador of Italy to the People’s Republic of China, Attilio Massimo Iannucci, and by a group of Chinese entrepreneurs related to Italy for different reasons. The event was preceded by a press conference attended by the most important Chinese medias connected with the eno-gastronomic sector, allowed to learn more about one of the most famous Italian wine production companies, which has been producing worldwide appreciated wines for more than 700 hundred years. Particularly, he introduced one of the leading products of his company, “Luce della Vite-Brunello di Montalcino”, a relatively new wine aimed at spreading Frescobaldi brand in China, matching it with another Made in Italy excellence company, the Richard Ginori 1735, that created a special clay plate to celebrate the above-mentioned wine. “The challenge of Chinese wine market,” said Ambassador Iannucci, “where we were eclipsed for years by our international competitors, has been gaining the attention of a growing number of Italian wine producers. Following many other important Italian producers who already visited Beijing to introduce their excellent products, Marquise Frescobaldi is contributing with his history and his Tuscan tradition to strengthen further the presence in China of high-quality Italian wines.” (Red)
