Brussels – “We compared innovative strategies for infrastructure, highlighting how important Juncker’s Investment Plan will be, alongside the effective use of structural funds, directed at economic recovery and employment growth,” stated the President of Friuli Venezia Giulia Debora Serracchiani at the end of her speech at the roundtable planned for the fourth and last of the Techitaly appointments. The event, included in the Italian Presidency of the EU Council of Ministers, was held yesterday at the headquarters the European Parliament, in the presence of Transport Minister Maurizio Lupi and the president of the Transport Commission Michael Cramer. Friuli, responding to its natural vocation for logistics platform and Balkans port, is the coordinator for all Italian regions of Pillar 2 (transport and energy) of the recently adopted strategy by the European Council. Friuli was the leader of all European regions for the east-west axis during the fourth Forum on the Mediterranean corridor. (9Colonne)
