Istanbul – Since its debut on October 2-3, 2013 at the Arena of Verona, “Romeo and Juliet. Love and changes the world,” the musical produced by David Zard, directed by Giuliano Peparini, with music by Gerard Presgurvic and texts in Italian by Vincenzo Incenzo, was staged in Rome, Milan, Naples, Turin, Florence, Parma and Palermo. It reached over 330,000 spectators in 166 performances. And now, it flies abroad: the show starring David Merlini and Giulia Luzi will be in Istanbul for 12 performances in Italian. The Turkish gigs are but the beginning of the international tour: in light of the recent expressions of interest received from productions in Korea, Japan, China, Russia, and Azerbaijan, the show will tour the world, bringing Italian excellence to five continents.
