Dec. 15 – Re-reading Dante with the help of new media to rediscover the relevance of the Divine Comedy and its unchanged ability to speak to all generations: this is the goal of the Lettura Dantesca Prize promoted by Loescher publisher and the Accademia della Crusca for the third consecutive year. The 2015 edition of the prize “La Selva, il Monte, le Stelle” is now open to schools around the world, available for the first time to those who study Italian abroad. Loescher publisher and the Accademia della Crusca aim to complete the reading of the entire Divine Comedy: this year, each participant can “book” one of the canti that weren’t read or recited in previous editions, and load their version on the site www.loescher.it/dante by April 13, 2015. All those who already participated can do so again. Each video will be subjected to a triple panel that sees Loescher, the Scientific Committee of the Accademia della Crusca and anyone who wishes to express their preference, via the website dante.loescher.it.
