London – Italian slalom canoe athletes are hard at work notwithstanding the intense month of December that is coming to an end. The Italian athletes are preparing for 2015, during which they will be engaged in the qualifications for the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro. The most important event is the upcoming World Championship, scheduled for September 16-20 at Lee Valley, London, on the same channel that in 2012 saw the triumph of Daniele Molmenti in K1 and Italy’s participation in all categories: Clara Giai Pron in K1 women, Stefano Cipressi in C1 male, and Pietro Camporesi and Niccolò Ferrari in C2.
