Auschwitz – “Italian schools are doing their part in the transmission of memory,” stressed Stefania Giannini commenting the protocol signed by the Education Ministry with the UCEI, the Union of Italian Jewish Communities, on the Holocaust and the way it is taught in schools. The minister is currently at the Auschwitz concentration camp with high school students. “The Ministry of Education, with this protocol and the trip to Poland – said Giannini – wants to deliver the witness and the responsibility of remembrance to our children. We must ensure that what happened never happens again in any way and in any place of the world.”(9Colonne)
