Digne-les-Bains – “Spaesamenti/Dépaysements” is a film writing training program for Italian and French young film students, future critics, aspiring teachers and event organizers. The program is the opportunity to gain experience in critical writing, film analysis and the organization of cultural activities. The main theme is a reflection on borders and frontiers through documentary filmmaking. Created by the Center for Cultural Cooperation of Turin alongside the documentary films production lab Airelles Vidéo Aix-en-Provence, the project is part of the Italy-France Cross-border Cooperation Program “Alcotra” and includes touring events, from June to March 2015. It will also host six study residencies between June and October for a period of three days each. (9Colonne)
