Brussels – The President of the Puglia Region, Nichi Vendola, as president of the Nereus network (Network of European Regions Using Space Technologies), is in Brussels for a mission dedicated to the network’s activities. These are aimed, on the one hand, at strengthening relationships with European and international institutions active in the field of space; on the other, at ensuring widespread dissemination of the importance of the “regional dimension of space” and the role space applications can play in key areas such as environmental monitoring, civil protection and transport.
