Montreal – “The sculptures of Michelangelo through the lens of Aurelio Amendola” is a photographic exhibition that made its debut yesterday at the headquarters of the Italian Cultural Institute of Montreal, and will run until Friday, February 27. 32 shots by Aurelio Amendola, all in black and white, capture the sensuality and power of Michelangelo’s statues. From the Louvre, San Lorenzo, Milan, and St. Petersburg, Amendola brings together a new vision on Michelangelo, catching every little mark left by the artist in his work. (9colonne)
