Herat – Yesterday, Herat opened a new laboratory for forensic investigations. The ceremony was attended by the Commander of the Train Advise Assist Command West (TAAC-W), Brigadier General Maurizio Angelo Scardino. He stood next to the most important civil and military authorities of the western region of Afghanistan. The lab, placed under the supervision of the Ministry of Interior, will be used by the Afghan National Police to search for evidence on the items found in crime scenes. (9Colonne)
