Brussels – 16 projects and €4 million of funding for the University of Florence within Horizon 2020, the EU Framework Programme for Research and Innovation. But the real numbers are still unclear, as the evaluation of all proposals presented by the University of Florence is yet to be completed. The European Laboratory for Nonlinear Spectroscopy (LENS) is the leader of an international network for the QUIC – Quantum Insulators and Conductors project. The project, funded with €2.4 million, of which €540.000 destined to LENS, wants to create high-performing energy and information transportation or storage systems. (9colonne)
