La Plata – The Salón Dorado of the La Plata Municipality recently hosted the official presentation of the First Italian Music Festival of La Plata. The General Coordinator of the Festival, Nicolás Moretti, was there alongside the Italian Consul General, Iacopo Foti, the Director General of Entidades y Colectividades, Mauricio Castro, and City Councilman, Gabriel Bruera. The Italian Music Festival will be open to all those who wish to sing edited and / or unpublished themes of Italian origin. It will take place at the Teatro Coliseo Podestá on October 7-8. The event counts the sponsorship and membership of: the Municipalidad de La Plata, the Consulate General of Italy in La Plata, the Italian Embassy in Argentina, the Italian Cultural Institute in Buenos Aires, ENIT (the Italian National Tourism Agency), Euroshoworld-Rome, FAILAP (Federacione Italian Associations of La Plata), the Puglia Region, the Centre for Italian Language and Culture Studies, Learn Italy La Plata, the National University of La Plata, the Catedra Libera Corridorio Produttivo Italia Argentina, the Asociacion Pugliese of La Plata, the Dante Alighieri Society Buenos Aires; the Associazione per la Diffusione della Cultura Italiana, and CPTCIA associated bodies.
