(Apr. 2) From Siena to Siberia in the sign of cooperation between universities. A few days ago, in the Russian city of Krasnoyarsk the European project Eranet-Mundus ended at the Siberian Federal University. The project seeks to forge strong and flows mobility between Russian and European universities, of which the University of Siena, in recent years, has has an active part. To represent the University during the closing conference has been professor Maurizio Pompella, referent for the project. Among the results achieved by the University of Siena within the European program of scientific and educational exchange with the Russian Federation, there are the new double degrees, which will be active from the next academic year 2015-16 for degree courses in “Economics and management of financial intermediaries” and “Management and governance.” In the general framework of the new relations with the Russian academic environment, in recent months the University of Siena has been protagonist of intense trading activity, from the visit of a delegation coming from the University of Nizhni Novgorod (Lobachevsky), which produced an agreement of bilateral cooperation, to the creation of a euro-Russian research network in the economic field thanks to the creation of an international conference at the Russian university itself.
