Oct. 12 – The Memorandum of Understanding between Kayser Italia and the School of Life Science of the Beijing Institute of Technology (BIT) was signed yesterday in the local Italian Embassy. Present were Kayser’s CEO, David Zolesi, BIT’s vicepresident, Zhao Changlu, the vice director general of the International Relations Department in the Science and Technology Chinese Ministry, Chen Linhao, and the Italian Ambassador, Attilio Massimo Iannucci. The MOU, achieved thanks to the cooperation coordinated by the Industrial Innovation Office of the Italian Embassy, underlines the common will to produce an effective partnership between the Italian agency and the technology institute, with a particular accent placed in biology and physiology. These should find concrete application in the next spatial missions Shenzou and Tiangong. For the Livorno-based agency, this is an important step forward towards internationalization in China. This process is part of Toscana Promozione 2011, which aims at connecting relevant expertise worldwide.
