Beijing – The 5th International Film Festival of Beijing is currently underway with the oversight of former Venice Film Festival and Rome Film Festival director Marco Müller. Within the event, Italy finds itself represented in many initiatives coordinated by Anica within the China Project. One of the most significant is the first mission of the In & Out Project, started by Anica Servizi as part of the Global Grant MovieUp financed by the Lazio Region. The project wants to stimulate the development of international relations for Lazio companies operating in the cinema and audiovisual industry. Six film projects have been selected to take part in the Film Market Festival in Beijing, where Chinese co-producers look for stories and characters that bring together two cultures. The second phase of In & Out Project, already scheduled in June for the two Festivals in Shanghai, will present six other film and six audiovisual projects. (9Colonne)
