Kathmandu – A Crisis Unit team from the Foreign Affairs Ministry is on its way to Kathmandu to monitor the situation on the ground and provide assistance to fellow nationals. The team will work with the Italian Civil Protection, which is also about to reach Nepal, in assessing and preparing the technical and health teams that will contribute to the rescue of people affected by the earthquake. In the meantime, the Crisis Unit is assessing the safety status of all Italians in Nepal. (9Colonne)
