Dublin – Professor Mario Barbagallo, professor of Internal Medicine and Geriatrics at the University of Palermo, was elected President of the Clinical Section at IAGG-ER, the International Association of Gerontology and Geriatrics – European Region. IAGG-ER is the most important Society of Geriatrics in the world, with over 22,000 members in Europe, Barbagallo’s presidency will last until 2019.
