London – Carmen Consoli’s rock wave returns this summer in open-air stages in Italy and abroad: from July to September, Consoli continues her L’Abitudine di Tornare TOUR with a renovated set, mood and arrangements, recalling the 1970s to bring back the atmosphere of Woodstock and Isle of Wight. The tour is also enriched by two major events: June 7th with Meeting del Mare, in Mariana Camerota (Salerno) and on August 21 in London’s Meltdown Festival. The Festival is one of the most prestigious international music events and this year’s artistic director is Oscar winner David Byrne, who strongly wanted Carmen as the sole Italian performer of the festival, an event showcases British excellence and has already had in previous editions David Bowie, Elvis Costello, Massive Attack and Patti Smith as artistic directors.
