May 13 – “The joint Ceramics of Italy stand will affirm once again the leadership of the Italian industry in creating design trends in the field of ceramics.” Confirms Vittorio Borelli, chairman of Confindustria Ceramica. From May 16 to 19, Ceramics of Italy will bring its joint stand at the ICFF at the Jacob K. Javits Center in New York, showing the latest trends in the design of ceramic tiles and sanitaryware. Promoted by Confindustria Ceramica and the ITA New York office, Ceramics of Italy will occupy a pavilion (booth 1424 to 1432) where 22 leading Italian companies will present their offer. “Italian ceramic tiles and sanitary continue to influence globally both design and production methods – continues Borelli – and participating in the ICFF gives architects and designers direct access to the latest designs and the most advanced solutions that feature Italian ceramic companies”. Italian producers present in America offer products specifically designed for the North American market, that can well represent the breadth and beauty of Italian ceramics with a design developed according to different directions: pop art, architectural slabs, traditional clay processing, graphic design, and the innovative reworking of natural materials. Ceramics of Italy will offer a preview of the new products developed by the participating brands. This will be also presented on social media including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and Pinterest, which will follow live the event. Ceramics of Italy will also have its #Selfeet contest, which invites ceramics operators and fans to publish photos of nice shoes or feet, laid on Italian ceramic tiles. (Red)
