Brussels – Italian farmers present their contribution to the “Charter of Milan”, the manifesto that will symbolize the “moral” legacy of Expo 2015. At the Press Club in Brussels, in a room full of journalists and EU and Italian institutional representatives, the national president of the Italian Agriculture Confederation, Dino Scanavino, explained the genesis of “Land as Destiny”: a summary document of the cycle of initiatives the organization carried out all over Italy in the last year to define an economic, social and sustainable production model to meet the challenge of “feeding the planet”. “This is not just about Italy – explained Scanavino – but involves everyone, first of all Europe.
