Tripoli – Eni has made a new gas and condensate discovery in offshore Libya, within the Bouri North exploration prospect, located in Area D, 140 kilometers from the coast and 20 kilometers north of the Bouri field. The discovery was made through the A1-1 / 1 well, drilled in 125 meters of water. During the production test, limited by surface infrastructure, the well produced 1,340 barrels of oil equivalent per day. It is estimated that the well will reach more than 3,000 barrels of oil equivalent per day. This is the second discovery made by Eni in the offshore exploratory Area D since the beginning of 2015.
