Tirana – “I 4 TOUR”, a draft submitted by the Albanian Ministry of Economic Development and Tourism in collaboration with the Region of Friuli Venezia Giulia and Informest as technical partner, ranked second among six projects funded by the third call of the Italian-Albanian Conversion of IADSA Debt Program. With a budget of €377,918, “I 4-TOUR” focuses on territorial development and sustainable tourism, and aims to restore the architectural heritage, the increase of the creative industries, rural development and youth employment. A key element of the project is the transfer of good practices at the regional level, especially for the “Albergo Diffuso” model, which has been promoted in Friuli Venezia Giulia since the 1980s. During the ceremony held on May 22 in Tirana, Ambassador Massimo Gaiani and Albanian Finance Minister Shkelqim Dogs awarded funding to the six projects that obtained the highest score. (9colonne)
