Tokyo – She makes her sold-out debut in Tokyo today, with “Italyana – A lifestyle”, produced in collaboration with the Italian Cultural Institutes of China and Japan. The tour will see the artist busy in Asia with 3 concert-events: after Tokyo (at the Italian Institute of Culture, Auditorium Umberto Agnelli), Emma Re will perform on June 1 in Hong Kong (Youth Square Y-Theatre) and on June 4 in Beijing. Accompanied on stage by Fabio Scarbaci on guitar, Roberto Sabbi on drums, Danilo Ciminiello on keyboards and Simone Ceracchi on bass, Emma Re will lead the audience of China and Japan on a journey through space and time to discover the melodies and atmospheres that have made great the name of Italy in the world: the notes of “Nessun Dorma” by Puccini or Modugno’s “Volare” and the great Neapolitan song (with “’O Sole Mio’ or “Tu si ‘na cosa grande”), as well as the classics by Mina and Battisti without neglecting “the best” from contemporary music.
