Miami – The exhibition “Giornate dell’Emigrazione”, promoted by Asmef and sponsored by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, takes over the Pelican Café in Miami Beach for Italian Republic Day. Tomorrow afternoon, the Café hosts the announcement ceremony for those Italian companies that will be awarded in Washington on October 17, at the “Italian Excellence Award 2015”. Brainchild of the economic journalist Massimo Lucidi, the Awards feature an Italian committee chaired by Santo Versace, and including Giulio Terzi di Sant’Agata, Philippe Daverio, Salvo Iavarone, Luca Piretta, Salvatore Lauro and an American Committee. Among the applications that will be presented in Miami there is also that of Joe Tacopina, advanced by former Foreign Minister Giulio Terzi di Sant’Agata. Tacopina is a US lawyer of Italian origin who is currently assisting Chicco Forti. (9Colonne)
