New York – New York announces the launch of the global petition #pizzaUnesco by Rossopomodoro in Greenwich Avenue, in the presence of the Permanent Mission to the UN. The promoter of the campaign, Alfonso Pecoraro Scanio, former Italian Minister of Agriculture, announced that on September 2-3 there will be a worldwide relay collecting signatures to enter the art of Neapolitan pizza makers in the UNESCO list of intangible heritage. “Rossopomodoro pizzerias from London to Riyadh, passing by Sao Paulo and Reykjavik – explained Alfonso Pecoraro Scanio – have already been activated.
