July 1, 2015 – An initiative for the internationalization of Italy’s agri-food industry comes from BNL of the BNP Paribas Group and Sace, that will provide companies in the sector with funding for €150 million. The project wants to support capital needs for the creation of commercial, productive or promotional investments to accompany companies in their medium and long term development. “Foodexport”, the name of the initiative, will allow companies to gain access to insurance and financial solutions best suited to support and simplify the entry operations in global markets. Foodexport is part of a strong partnership between BNL and SACE, which over the years saw them deliver about €250 million in funding to support the development plans of Italian companies in key sectors of Made in Italy, such as agri-food or mechanics.
