Laayoune – Simonetta Saliera, President of the Regional Council of Emilia-Romagna, welcomed forty Sahrawi children, guests in selected municipalities of Emilia-Romagna for a host project organized by the regional coordination of solidarity associations with the Saharawi people, in collaboration with the Polisario and the National Association of solidarity with the Saharawi people. President Saliera thanked the Italian families and associations who for years promoted the reception of minors, signing a “pact of friendship that must continue” between the Saharawi people and Emilia-Romagna. Children are hosted in facilities and families in the provinces of Bologna, Ferrara, Modena, Parma, Reggio Emilia and Rimini. (9Colonne)
