Shama – The Shama base, the headquarters of the UNIFIL Sector West, served as backdrop for the donation of pharmaceutical material to the Lebanese Armed Forces Hospital in Beirut, the Red Cross and to the public hospital of Tyre. The material – hundreds of bottles of electrolyte solutions and glucose – has been donated, through the Italian contingent, by the “Sacred Military Constantinian Order of Saint George” of Emilia Romagna. And from the same region comes the Friuli Aircraft Brigade, that from April 13 is commanding the Western Sector of UNIFIL in southern Lebanon.
