Tokyo – Finmeccanica signed with Hitachi an adjustment for the sale agreement of 40% of the Ansaldo capital shares. In order to speed up the procedure for the completion of the sale, the amendment provides that the Ansaldo STS Assembly (held on the occasion of the closing) will be able to take place as early as 1 October. The six directors designated by Finmeccanica, at its request, turned in their resignation, which is subordinated to the realization of the conditions contained in the sales agreement. (9Colonne)
